Security
Last updated: May 12, 2026
Security is foundational to Blackbase. This page summarizes the controls we use to protect your data.
Infrastructure
Blackbase runs on hardened cloud infrastructure with isolated environments, automated patching and 24/7 monitoring.
Encryption
All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard algorithms.
Access controls
- Row-level security on every database table.
- Role-based access (admin, editor, viewer) per workspace.
- Private storage buckets with signed URLs.
- Encrypted password vault for sensitive credentials.
Authentication
Passwords are hashed with strong, salted algorithms. We support secure password recovery and rate-limited login.
Backups
Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery options on paid plans.
Reporting a vulnerability
Found something? Please report it responsibly to security@blackbase.io. We appreciate your help in keeping Blackbase safe.
